Just by the camp site. Steep dip into a river crossing.
Eaten alive by Mossies overnight, must have come in the hinge gap of the roof top tent- won’t leave that open again! Packed up and headed down the Yiyinti track to the Arch and then on to Musterer's cave.

Fantastic geology at the Arch and beautiful views from the entrance to the caves.
From the Arch, we moved onto Musterer's Cave. Roy went in the small opening to the first cave and found lots of bats and dragon flies.

After that we headed down the Tawallah track aiming for Emerald pool for lunch.
After a few wrong turns in deciphering the map we found the location but it was a bit of a swamp so we headed back to Tristan pool and Wildfire gorge where we parked and made lunch.

Lunch at the track as the rain began
Believe it or not the sprinkling rain got harder. Considering the state of the 4wd tracks to get there we decided to cut and run for the homestead rather than risk being rained in.
We followed the map and the signs and it didn’t take long, just a muddy gate to go through and we were back. Signed back in, snapped the local peacock and filled up with diesel before heading into the camp ground and setting up in the same location as before.

Filling up with diesel ready for an early start tomorrow
Chucked on the swimmers and spent a leisurely time in the hot springs where Roy was nibbled on by small fish.
Had a good chat with other travelers about what to see and where to go.
Lashed out on a dinner at the ‘restaurant’ and ordered a cooked breakfast for tomorrow as we leave.
